Pacing Strategy for Races

Converting Between Pace and Speed

To convert minutes/mile to mph: 60 Γ· pace (min/mi). An 8:00/mi pace = 60 Γ· 8 = 7.5 mph. For km/h: 3.6 Γ· pace in min/km Γ— 1 = pace in km/h. A 5:00/km pace = 12 km/h.
